Day 2 climbs deeper into the Bolaven Plateau, moving away from river valleys and into cooler highland scenery. Leaving Tad Lo in the morning, the route winds through rural farming villages and coffee-growing areas, with several of the plateau’s most dramatic waterfalls along the way. The riding today is more varied, with a mix of sealed roads and quieter rural stretches, but distances are manageable and there’s plenty of time for stops. The day finishes around Paksong, the plateau’s main town and coffee hub, where accommodation options are plentiful and the cooler climate makes for a comfortable night.
